OUR STORY
WE LOVE TO THINK YOUR DOG FEELS AT HOME
Our story began with a bad stay at a kennel when our dog Molly, who was 1 year old at the time. She was not at all happy and could hardly wait to leave the place. We found she was dusty, smelly, and subdued. While walking Molly one day, and telling someone of her experience, they told us that some people now board dogs in their own homes. We quickly looked into this and found a company with whom we eventually joined to become sitters ourselves.
However, eventually, after word of mouth from friends and family, we were being contacted by people to take their dogs while they were away. So we decided to leave the company we were with and start up Precious Paws.
Some people do not like the thought of kenneling their dog. so we are the ideal alternative
Unfortunately, we lost Molly 4 years ago, and we had a lot of furry kisses and cuddles from our boarders to help us through that difficult time. We now have a big bundle of energy called Harper, a gorgeous food-loving Labrador.
We now do day care for those of you who wish for their pooch to have company while they are at work. We understand no one likes the idea of being alone for long.
We like to think that when your pooch comes and stays or boards with us, your dog feels at home. We have even had dogs that are boarding and are used to sleeping upstairs, who also do so here.
We have had large to small dogs, fun-loving to like to snooze a lot dogs. From young pups to mature dogs. Dogs from the same litter but different new families. We have been very lucky.
